gBoarder is a mobile phone game which you play during snowboarding. It constantly measures your ride and detects jumps and bails (crashes). After your run, gBoarder displays the statistics of it and you can compare them with your friends.
The technology that enables all this is called accelerometer and is built into newer Nokia phones. The accelerometer outputs the accelerations the phone is exposed to. This can be used to detect a jump or bail. While gBoarder was originally developed for the sport/outdoor phone Nokia 5500 it has later been upgraded to work on N95s.
